Inglis House Mission
-
The Inglis house in Philadelphia is a specialty nursing care facility providing long-term, residential care for adults with physical disabilities, including multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury and stroke, among others.
-
The Inglis House also offers support for non residential clients. Their mission is to enable people with physical disabilities to achieve their goals and live life to the fullest.
-
They have a 3D printing lab in their facility that allows them to create personalized technology for their clients to improve their quality of life.

How We Collaborated
-
Inglis presented us with clients that were having issues with their assistive technology, and they needed our expertise to create innovative solutions to help not only the clients, but all people struggling with their active technology. These clients had technology that's widely used, so creating new technology allowed us to help a community of people.
-
Inglis supported us by giving us insight into the limitations of the clients, the qualities of MS, and they gave us feedback on our designs.
-
Inglis was also able to communicate the limitations in their designs and the concerns of the people. They shared with us past designs so we were able to target the issues.
-
Without the staff at Inglis, we would have never been able to make impactful, innovative technology that can help the commonwealth and world.
